Profile Claire has practised law for over 20 years, including 5 years in Australia, and has worked extensively in the areas of family law and child protection in both jurisdictions. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society.
Claire has also dealt with a large number of applications under the PPPR Act 1988, Health Act 1936, and Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992. She appears regularly in the Youth, District and High Courts and is the team leader for the Youth and Family Court team.

As a member of the medico-legal team has provided timely advice to a number of health sector clients.
Prosecutes criminal jury trials and defended hearings.
Lectures in criminal law for the Diploma of Forensic Science at Auckland University.
