Anna advises clients on a wide range of commercial property and corporate matters, including investment structures, funds and syndications (including Securities Act requirements), fractional ownership schemes, the acquisition, development and disposal of commercial property, and the commercial leasing of land and buildings.

Anna also provides advice in relation to Treaty of Waitangi issues including settlement negotiations, land ownership and administration.

Sample Mandates

Advising various public and private entities on the structuring and establishment of investment vehicles, such as PIEs, registered and unregistered funds and unit trusts. Advising issuers, managers, promoters and trustees on a range of matters including funding, management and statutory compliance.

Advising both private investors and the Crown on Maori land and Treaty of Waitangi matters, including settlement negotiations, right of first refusal procedures and land acquisition.

Acting for major New Zealand retail chains and property investors on all aspects of their commercial property acquisition, development and leasing requirements.
