Gareth practised in the litigation team of a leading Taranaki law firm before joining Meredith Connell in early 2004. Gareth assists clients on a broad range of litigation matters. He has wide experience in both commercial and civil litigation, and currently acts for private corporate clients and governmental bodies providing general commercial and civil litigation related advice.

Gareth also has considerable insolvency-related experience. He has primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of matters on behalf of the Official Assignee, and also acts for private top-end liquidators. He is proficient in all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency and is often engaged in complex high end High Court and Court of Appeal insolvency-related litigaiton. He is recognised as an expert in the insolvency field.
